We are proud to announce that we are now offering shorter, two day local retreats in the Northern California Region!

These retreats, unlike the retreats abroad, are designed to cost less and focus more on the training rather than the accommodations. With no long plane rides and less time off, these weekend getaways are perfect for those participants looking to learn something new, have fun, and do it all without having to leave for an entire week. So come enjoy yourself for a weekend and return home feeling fresh, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world!

Walker Creek Ranch, conveniently located near the wine country of Napa Valley and only 12 minutes to Tomales Bay (yeah oyster lovers!). Here, you can escape the hot temperatures of the valley and spend your time relaxing and focusing on regaining control over your body. This retreat allows you to learn tons of useful information without the commitment of a week long retreat and at a fraction of the cost!

The Walker Creek Ranch Getaway features world reknown guest instructor Henry Look and local instructors Eileen Wheeler and Marion Gilbert. Eileen will be teaching Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu, Self Defense, and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan while Grandmaster Look brings his unparalleled experience in Guang Ping Yang Tai Chi, Hsing Yi and Ba Gua. Marion will be teaching the Somatic experience as it relates to the Ennegram, a personality classification technique. Classes are for everyone and you are guaranteed to learn techniques that will change your life for the better. Come relax and learn Tai Chi in the beautiful hills of the wine country. Visit and engage in activities in the Ranch Garden, which is now producing delicious organic vegetables year round. You are welcome to take a walk through the garden as well, and hopefully sample some the fresh produce in the Dining Hall. The trails, low elements challenge course, and water front facility are also available to you, so go ahead and relax, you deserve it!
