For the Hawaii Kung Fu and Tai Chi Adventure Retreat you will have the option of staying by yourself or with someone else in a shared bath room, or you can rough it by bringing your own tent and camping! Any way you choose it, all 3 square and tasty meals are included.
Prices INCLUDE:

  • 7 nights stay at the beautiful and remote (but not too remote) Kalani Retreat Center
  • 3 delicious meals per day prepared and served at the open-air dining veranda
  • Access to the Pool, Sauna, Volleyball Courts, Jacuzzi, and other fun in the sun areas

Tree Houses

The Tree Houses are separate spacious units, on two levels, nestled under the cool shade of a large Monkeypod Tree, enhanced by views of pasture and glimpses of sea through a coastal grove of native Kamani (mahogany) and coconut palms.

King bed, private bath, fan, mini fridge, ocean and horse pasture vistas. Approximately 500 square-feet.

Cottages

cottAGEThe Guest Cottages are nestled amongst the trees, offering a private and charming place to get away and relax.

Double bed and queen futon, private bath, fan, mini fridge, jungle vista. Approximately 250 square-feet.

Lodge Rooms

treehouseThe three split level lodges or Hales (pronounced Ha'-lay, Hawaiian for "house" or "lodge") house several rooms on each floor with access to a shared kitchen for more informal, communal living.

Twin, double, or king beds, shared or private bath, fan, garden vista. Room is approximately 200 square-feet. Includes access to adjoining studio with shared kitchen and an upstairs meeting area. The recently-renovated Lodge 1 has no shared kitchen but features garden lanais (verandas), hammocks, and native ohia floors.

Campsite

For travellers on a budget, we offer outdoor camping. The campsites are simple but are situated near the outdoor bathroom and showers for convenience.Platforms for tents, optional canopy cover, and access to outdoor bathroom and hot showers.

What to Bring

Sneakers/hiking shoes, a long sleeve shirt and pants (for evenings), flip-flops, shorts, T-shirts, swimsuit, sun block, insect repellent, battery operated alarm clock, and flashlight. If participating in adventures please bring water sandals with ankle straps.
